New Kuta Golf Course Map

About The New Kuta Golf Course

New Kuta offers stunning sea views, rolling links-style fairways, and challenging undulating greens, catering to golfers of all levels. The front nine traverses diverse terrain, featuring the precision-demanding 6th hole with its island-like green surrounded by a vast bunker. The par-4 7th presents a challenging dogleg right, testing both length and accuracy with bunkers and an elevated green.

The back nine, influenced by prevailing sea breezes, adds complexity to holes 14, 15, and 16, perched high above Dreamland Beach. Precision is crucial to avoid lost balls in the sea below. The par-4 14th offers a dramatic 438-yard downhill descent to a cliffside green. The 15th, a short but challenging 153-yard hole, sits on an exposed headland, while the 16th, a lengthy par-4, rewards strategic play for a shot at par.

About The Bali National Golf Course

Bali National Golf Club offers two distinct terrains for a captivating golf experience. The front nine winds through lush hills adorned with tropical flora and offers panoramic vistas of the Indian Ocean and Nusa Dua. Handcrafted stone walls evoke the charm of Bali’s rice field terraces. The par-5 7th, spanning over 600 yards, presents unique terraced landscaping challenges.

The back nine unfolds on level ground amidst coconut trees and serene lakes. Hole 17, a signature par-3 with an island green, rivals the famous TPCC Sawgrass #17. The finishing hole, a dogleg left, promises birdie opportunities, while the modern clubhouse provides a scenic view of the conclusion.

“WOW WOW! The folks at Easy Golf Bali truly live up to their name. We had a group of 12 guys, and at the last minute, we decided to book a 4-day, 3-round Golf package to Bali. Someone recommended Brian and his company. To my amazement, after just six emails, everything was DONE! The trip was perfect; everything ran smoothly without a single hiccup, which is remarkable considering they only had three days to arrange. Once again, a huge cheers to Brian for taking such excellent care of us.”

Can I use a measuring device?2023-09-05T10:28:44+08:00

Great news! The tournament committee has approved the use of measuring devices at the Bali Amateur Open.

Can I walk the course?2023-09-05T10:29:59+08:00

For the safety and convenience of all participants, please note that every golfer must use a shared motorized cart, and only licensed drivers are allowed to operate/drive a golf cart. In the unfortunate event of an accident, the driver assumes responsibility for any cart damage and associated costs.

To ensure a smooth and considerate game, common sense should prevail. Avoid driving your cart in front of other players on the course, and as a matter of courtesy, refrain from moving forward or backward when a fellow player is addressing the ball.

Pace of play2023-09-05T10:32:07+08:00

Maintaining a suitable pace of play is vital for the enjoyment of all golfers on the course. A round of approximately 4 and a half hours is considered a reasonable duration. This doesn’t mean rushing your shots but being prepared to play when it’s your turn and keeping pace with the group ahead of you. Your cooperation in this regard ensures a smoother and more enjoyable golf experience for everyone.

Do we play together if we enter as a team?2023-09-05T10:35:25+08:00

You will be paired with golfers in your handicap range for the tournament rounds. However, you can choose your playing partner (ONE) for all four rounds. We aim to create a fun and enjoyable event, so sharing the experience with your golfing companion is encouraged.

What is the maximum handicap?2023-09-05T10:36:51+08:00

For men, the maximum handicap allowed is 30, and for ladies, it is 40. If a player’s handicap exceeds these maximum limits, they must play off the respective maximum permitted handicap (30 for men and 40 for ladies).

Will the Slope Handicap System be used?2023-09-05T10:54:35+08:00

Indeed, the golf course’s difficulty and the specific tee box played from will determine a player’s handicap before the start of each round.

To calculate your handicap, you can use the formula Slope Rating (multiplied by) Your handicap (divided by 113). This calculation will yield your slope-rated handicap for the course and tee box.

No need to worry. The Tournament committee will take care of this for you.

Do we have a Caddie?2023-09-05T10:57:03+08:00

Absolutely, a local caddie will be assigned to each golfer at every course. Caddies are there to assist and enhance your golfing experience. Kindly treat your caddie respectfully, as they are dedicated to ensuring you have the best round possible.

Please note that a minimum caddy tip of 200,000 IDR (approximately $20 AUD) is expected from each individual golfer after each round. Your appreciation for their assistance is greatly appreciated.

How do we get the the Golf Course?2023-09-05T10:58:46+08:00

Your convenience is our priority, and that’s why all transfers from the hotel to the golf courses are included in your package. Your golf clubs will be arranged separately and waiting for you at each course.

Golf registration for each round will occur at the respective course before your game. We will provide you with advance notification of the designated departure times from the hotel and the courses, ensuring a smooth and organized experience throughout the tournament.

Dress standards2023-09-05T10:59:56+08:00

To maintain a respectful golfing environment, all players are required to dress neatly. This includes wearing a collared golf shirt, shorts or pants. Appropriate golf shoes must be worn with socks.

Please refrain from wearing the following on the course: denim, singlets, beach or gym wear, and cargo pants. Your adherence to these dress code guidelines ensures a pleasant and respectful atmosphere for all participants.

Can I practice before my round?2023-09-05T11:02:15+08:00

Certainly, if you desire extra practice time before your round, you have the option to make your way to the course earlier on your own. While the arranged transfers may not provide sufficient time for range practice, you can plan your schedule accordingly to ensure you have ample time to warm up and practice as needed.

I live in Bali can I just compete in the tournament without staying at the Resort?2023-09-05T11:02:41+08:00

No, the Bali Amateur Open is the complete package. If you are not staying at the Hotel you will not be playing in the tournament.
